Denny and Susan Waxman Workshop Seattle Area June 7-9

posted in: Events | 5

**Update: It’s not on the actual event site, but Friday night’s lecture has been changed to 5 pm at the Starbucks by the Bellevue Barnes and Noble. **
Denny and Susan Waxman will be in town providing lectures, cooking classes and macrobiotic consultations June 7-9, 2013 near Seattle, WA. We are so excited to have them here in our area. This is a rare treat. Denny has been practicing and teaching about macrobiotics for over 40 years. Susan has been a macrobiotic teacher and counselor for more than 16 years.

If you are interested in macrobiotics, a plant-based diet or an energetic approach to diet and lifestyle, then this workshop is for you!IMG_20130111_101501

Here is a brief overview of the schedule:

Friday, June 7:  Free lecture based on Denny’s 7 Steps for Strengthening Health.

Saturday, June 8:  Morning: Denny will lecture on how to support our bodies to address hypoglycemia, food cravings and other signs of an imbalanced diet and lifestyle. Lunch will be provided by PCC, a local natural food co-op. Afternoon: Susan will teach a cooking class focused on kicking the sugar habit.

Sunday, June 9:  Morning: Denny will lecture on raising strong and vibrant kids. Lunch will be provided by PCC. Afternoon: Susan will teach about cooking quick family dishes and snacks.

Friday’s lecture will take place in Bellevue, WA. Saturday and Sunday workshop will take place in Woodinville, WA.

Denny will provide a group consultation with 10 people as well. This is a fun way to get 20 minutes of individual time with Denny and also listen to his recommendations for the other members of the group.

Find more information and register for the workshop and consultations here.

If you are in the Seattle area, or even Washington State or Portland, OR, I highly recommend attending this event.

🙂 A favorite teacher of mine, Warren Kramer, travels quite a bit doing workshops and consultations. Plus he is doing Skype consultations now. It might be interesting to see what he has to say about gout.
