Playing with the Moon: Sagittarius New Moon

Are you playing the moon game, yet? It feels like I just wrote about the Scorpio New Moon and here we are about a month later already and the day of the Sagittarius New Moon.

The new moon in Sagittarius is at 4:23 pm PST. For some of you, this has already passed, but it’s not too late to set your intentions. Sagittarius is the visionary and seeker of truth. I like to envision his arrow piercing the veil. Set intentions around questioning your current belief systems. Get clear about your own truth and make a commitment to really live it. The world has enough puppets. Get out there with your truly original thinking and share what you are passionate about! Live into your vision of the life you are meant to live. I highly recommend reading this, written by my friend Brett, for a more in depth look at Sagittarius New Moon intentions. I have always been a seeker of truth and lover of philosophy. I love asking questions about the big grand picture, why I am here and what are we all doing here. I am going to set intentions focusing on two different things. One intention is to allow myself to fully express my thinking, my philosophy of life and why I think we are here. In the past I have kept quiet because I was not sure how my thoughts would be received. Not anymore. I am also going to be talking more about the work I am being called to, which is to help people heal their relationship with their physical bodies. My other intention is about releasing any beliefs that keep me from really putting myself first emotionally and physically. This is part of living my truth and valuing myself.

I am committed to sharing with you my intentions for each new moon each month until we have completed a one year cycle. If you are new to this, we set intentions at the new moon and follow them through the whole moon cycle. Experience conflict/resolution during the first quarter phase, illumination during the full moon and integration during the third quarter phase. It’s fabulous! If you would like to join us, I would love to hear your thoughts and intentions.

  1. This sounds great – I’ve have had this information (about new moons and intention setting) cross my path too many times now to think it’s a coincidence. Looks like 2014 is the year to jump on board 🙂
