Playing with the Moon: Taurus New Moon

We experienced a Lunar Eclipse with the last Full Moon, about two weeks ago. Now we have a Solar Eclipse with this New Moon in Taurus April 28, 2014 at 11:15 pm PST. Come dance with me and our Moon as we enter a New Moon cycle full of beauty, abundance, creativity and connection to nature.

As a child, I spent many days lying in the grass, playing in the rain and hanging out in my mother’s garden. Cultivating our garden references a whole lot more than just growing flowers and vegetables. As women, we are fertile and creative beings. Our bodies are the soil and when we cultivate them, we blossom and the whole world around us blossoms as well. Our lives embody beauty, love and creativity the more we cultivate our own inner being and our own physical bodies.

So for this moon cycle, I am diving deep into the mystery of what it means to be female. I make a commitment to embrace beauty and to nurture this physical form I inhabit at a deeper level than I have previously. I continue my journey to reclaim my power, first with the Pisces New Moon and my calling as a Healer, then in Aries and my calling to be a Warrior and now in Taurus as I step into my calling to heal our connection with our physical bodies. The world needs our love, beauty and creativity. It needs the ability of the feminine to see the whole, big picture and the possibilities that abound within creativity and love. We are only going to survive with the kind of growth that occurs with our Mother Earth at the root.

A few months ago, at one of Daniella White’s sound baths, I had the vision of my body laying on our Earth being absorbed into the soil, complete with the bacteria and little bugs that were transforming me into rich compost. This experience was profoundly healing because I could feel how much my body is an extension of Mother Earth. I am her. She loves me and any separation I have ever felt from her has only been illusion.

These last three moon cycles have been super transformative for me as I move into my purpose more fully and more deeply committed than ever. I am a healer. I heal through energy and through food as energy. I am a teacher. I have an ever-increasing capacity for love and envision infinite possibilities for the transformation of our world. I am ready to step into my calling.

  1. Gorgeous!! Love it 🙂
Connecting to my femininity is a continual journey of growth and transformation for me. It is something I didn’t engage with when I was younger, and so I have been on a path of reclaiming it, these past few years. I have been feeling a strong pull to connect with nature these days as well – all a part of the same journey. Love that you are stepping into your calling!! xoxo

Thank you so much, Jess! Vancouver Island seems like a magical place for connecting with nature. 🙂
