For the past eight years, I have studied the energetic properties of food and how to use them to support my physical health and my spiritual growth. I draw on universal laws of nature and principles developed in macrobiotic philosophy. Sometimes food and lifestyle can act as distractions keeping us from expressing our true nature and living the life we want. Making different choices can support our ability to stay present to our body’s needs and our spiritual path.
Here are a few ways in which I personally experience the difference the appropriate food and lifestyle choices make for my body.
- clear thinking
- emotional stability
- compassion for all life
- compassion for myself
- sense of purpose
- deep connection to nature
- bigger and more open heart
I studied macrobiotic and natural foods cooking, home remedies and basic visual diagnosis at the Natural Epicurean of Culinary Arts in Austin, TX. I have continued my studies with Warren Kramer, David Briscoe, Denny Waxman, Dawn Pallavi-Ludwig and Lino and Jane Stanchich.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and am a trained birth and postpartum doula. I have also received energetic training at a Reiki Master level.
I continue to be amazed by the powerful shift in vibration resulting from simple adjustments in food and lifestyle. The impact of these choices expands way beyond just my individual life. They impact all life around the globe. As a result of incorporating macrobiotic and spiritual practices into my daily life, I have become more compassionate with both myself and others. My thinking is clear and I have balanced energy. My connection to my body, our planet and my spirit continues to grow daily. I am feeling more sweetness and joy in my life than I ever thought was possible and I want to share what I know with others.
